• This trainer tones your leg and bottom muscles as you go about your every-day activities.  Wear them cleaning, shopping or out with the kids, but they’re not really for the gym.
  • Once you get over the odd sensation (they deliberately create an imbalance, this is how they tone you), they’re a really comfortable trainer.
  • The lining is seam-free and very smooth and soft…just make sure you tighten the laces, the lining is so soft that there is little to grip to your socks!
  • they look great and go with most of your relaxed wardrobe and denims.  Would go great with cut-off jeans!

With a slogan that says ‘Better legs and a better butt with every step’.  You have to admit that you’d be expecting something good!  The Reebok Reeinspire Easytone trainer is a trainer that you wear for every day activities like going shopping or taking the kids out.  I wouldn’t say it’s a great trainer for a gym workout.

The fit is great and the soft seam-free lining is really comfortable, you just have to make sure you tie the laces quite tightly as the lining is quite slippery and you foot feels like its coming out.

Although it takes a time to get used to the unbalanced soling (this is how it trains your muscles), this ladies trainer is a good for those who are looking for a muscle toning shoe that shapes ups the legs and looks good!

The Reebok Easytone range is Reeboks answer to the MBT range of Instability Training shoes that have been proven over time to tone the muscles of you legs and bottom.

Whereas the MBT mimics walking on sand, Reebok uses these ‘balance pods’ that provide an instability with every step as the pods are filled with air that moves around.  They claim this forces your muscles to adapt and work harder with every step.

I found the trainer easy to get on and it certainly looked a lot nicer than any of these other types of trainer.  I liked the colouring and they have a great range available, so you should find a colour that suits most of you relaxed casual wardrobe.  As I’ve mentioned, in my opinion this is not the type of trainer to wear to the gym, it’s just an ‘everyday’ item of footwear to wear whilst out and about.

I tried the size 4 and it fitted me perfectly.  The lining is padded and extremely smooth and I loved the fact it was seem-free so there is no chances of blisters or sores sue to poor seams.

The only thing was that the lining was almost too smooth, so I felt like my socks had nothing to grip onto and that my foot may slip a bit. But with careful lacing this could be overcome.

So to the balance pods….some people love them, others hate them!  I certainly felt that they were doing something!  I felt a ‘ridge’ on the base of my foot at the ‘joint’ area (just where the toes and main part of the foot join).  This was near where the biggest ‘pod’ was.  I also have a bad lower back and certainly was more aware of that!

But over time, this eased as my body became accustomed to this ‘imbalance’.

In summary, if you’re looking at getting a muscle toning trainer, these are certainly some of the most attractive on the market. They do feel odd to start with, but stick with them and you’ll soon join the thousands of ‘regular’ people that are big fans of them.

Built specifically for walking and everyday activities, the EasyTone Reeinspire is designed to work your key leg and butt muscles with every step.
