This Fly London boot is a must! It is the perfect boot for doing anything!
Really comfortable wedge platform sole
gives you the height, without the discomfort of regular heeled boots. It’s therefore a REALLY practical boot and looks equally good dressed up with a skirt for work or with jeans or leggings tucked in when casual. I can even run in these with the kids!
the velcro strap ensures this boot can fit all but the largest calf widths
The leather is really soft and flexible and of a great quality
Comes out slightly large for size so unless you have broad feet, you may want to consider buying the size down if you’re a half size…if you’re a 4.5, buy the 4, not the 5…

Detailed Review
Description
A knee High Wedge Boot with Stitch Detailing. I have assessed the Chocolate Brown Colour in a UK size 4
The boot is on a platform wedge heel so that the front under your toes (or forepart) of the boot is also quite high.
Boot Height Dimensions
Forepart : 2.5cm
Heel Height: 10cm (but the heel to toe rise is only a 7.5cm differential as the boot has a platform)
Serious Heels!
Total Height of boot (from ground) 47cm
Total Height from base of heel to the top of the leg 37cm
Inside Zip Length: 27.5cm
Boot Circumference Measurements
(taken from outside of boot so inside will be slightly smaller)
Despite this boot being a very high platform wedge, I found this boot very comfortable and practical. I think I could even keep up with the kids on the school run in these! The wedge sole feels very sturdy (I don’t feel all wobbly like in regular heels) and it’s non-slip.
The leather upper is extremely soft, flexible and malleable so I cannot envisage any breaking-in blisters or being uncomfortable. I also think the leather will mould nicely to the foot the more the boot is worn!
There is contrast beige / dark yellow stitching that highlights the leather panels and becomes a good design feature.
The trademark ‘Fly London’ logo is imprinted in the leather on the outside of each ankle.
The downsides
I have a perfect size 4 foot according to SATRA measurements, but my foot is bony and I do have a high instep. Having said that I found foot insertion (ie getting my foot in) good, but that the boot was a little tight at the joint area (where the toes join your foot at the widest area) however this would ease with wear given the soft leather.
I personally found the leg a bit wide (but I have skinny legs at a ….cm circumference).
This boot would be ideal for slightly narrower feet and regular sized legs. Definitely not for you if your over average width at the foot or leg.
